Feetpix is an NFT collection of 10,000 cheap-to-mint (0.0018ETH) foot pictures that sold out on January 8, 2023 and became the 5th most-traded collection on OpenSea. The collection managed to accumulate 778 ETH (~$1M) in volume, surpassing blue-chip collections like BAYC on the day of launch. Its floor price hit a high of 0.135 ETH. The absurdity and uselessness of Feetpix felt reminiscent to many of an earlier age in NFTs, when seemingly-pointless collections often ballooned to incredible valuations. Read more.
